About Us
We are a small breeder, on a mini farm, trying to breed back the foundation German Shepherds with straight backs, extensive DNA health testing, and most importantly solid minds.
We believe that producing solid and confident minded dogs will make great family pets - yet be your first line of defense in the home, if needed.
Raising with care
We plan to breed no more than three litters each year to ensure that we can devote our full attention and effort to our puppies before they find their forever homes.
We understand the dedication required to raise just one litter and the commitment needed to ensure each puppy receives the time and care necessary to become confident and comfortable when embarking on their new life.
Our process for raising pups
We raise our puppies as part of our family, ensuring they experience life in a home environment. When they reach the appropriate age, they enjoy an all-day outdoor experience in a spacious ¼ acre fenced play yard, which includes a12x12 enclosed shelter with a 16-foot run. Here, they can relax in the shade under a fan or heater, and at night, the puppies return inside to be with the family.
Our puppies receive daily training and socialization, which includes acclimating them to children, men & women, other dogs in the household, loud sounds, thunderstorm sounds via speakers, car rides, and quick movements.
We also introduce them to leash walking, crate training, potty training and start teaching basic commands like “down” and “sit”.” Above all, we ensure they receive plenty of daily love and attention.

Adelheid Shepherds has been recognized as a responsible breeder by Good Dog, who performs comprehensive evaluations of breeder facilities and practices.
